AIS-F8042 is a powerful withiSCSI and NFS Cloud Storage. It embeds stable Operating System, powerful iSCSI Target, iSNS Server, User-Oriented Disk Virtualization function, Hybrid RAID system, User friendly WEB GUI management function, and 16 high performance SAS/SATA bays.

AIS-F8042 can connect up to 6 AIS-U16J JBODs to control 112 HDDs and then provide huge storage space.

In which, iSCSI Target complies with RFC 3720 (iSCSI), RFC 1994 (PPP CHAP), RFC 2759(Microsoft PPP CHAP Extensions) and iSNS Server complies with RFC 4171 (iSNS). AIS-F8042 provides you an iSCSI service with high compatibility.

          AIS-F8042 offers customer User-Oriented Privilege Management features. 

          Besides providing authentication functionat User Login-in stage, an

          AIS-F8042 regulates access privilege of iSCSI LUN for users.

          AIS-F8042 offers following four privilege types:

            - by Account

                An iSCSI LUN is assigned to an account. A user can access the iSCSI

                LUN everywhere after input the account and the password on iSCSI

                Initiator. This type is good used for cloud storage services. 

            - by Machine

                An iSCSI LUN is assigned to an IP address or MAC address. Then, the

                iSCSI LUN is accessed by the specific server or PC, which has the

                IP address or MAC address. This type is good used for providing

                storage to services.

            - Common Privilege

                An iSCSI LUN is accessed by many services or PC simultaneously.

                This type is good for serving Virtualization Platform and Cluster System.

            - Shared Privilege

                An iSCSI LUN has an owner account, who can read/write the iSCSI LUN.

                The iSCSI LUN is assigned to a group. Members of the group can read

                data from the iSCSI LUN. This type is good for sharing data to a group

                of people.
